Edwin and Erika created this foundation to continue raising awareness of baseball with young AA males with a special focus on assisting children of either deployed, active duty parents or parents that have been injured or killed in the Line of Duty. Edwin’s father retired from the military and both of Erika’s parents were active in the military. Erika, herself, served in the military, so it only fit that both Edwin and Erika decided to stand for a cause that is near and dear to them both.
